Stanley Yelnuts under a curse that started from his no-good-dirty-rotten-pig-stealing great-great-grandfather and has since followed generations of Yelnatses.  He is a overweighted boy was sent to a boys detention centre called Camp Green Lake. Stanley thought that Camp Green Lake was good because the name made it sound like it had a big river but it is gone. The River dried up along time ago, but there are an awful lot of holes. Every day the boys there have to dig a hole that is 5 feet wide and 5 feet deep. Will Stanley find something amazing under the dried up lake. Will Stanley make friends?Or will he run away from the camp?
